Clear Bag Policy

As part of Finlay Park’s grand reopening weekend, Jam Room Music Festival will follow the City of Columbia’s clear bag policy. Please plan accordingly to help ensure a smooth entry for everyone. Click here for more information.

Parking + Shuttle

Free parking is available at nearby City of Columbia decks: Arsenal Hill (1812 Lincoln St), Taylor Street (1600 Assembly St), PJ Cannon (1227 Taylor St), and Lincoln (820 Washington St).

ADA parking is in the Finlay Park Upper Lot (930 Laurel St) and at blue-bagged meters near the Taylor St entrance.

The COMET will provide free shuttles from the Taylor St and PJ Cannon decks to Finlay Park’s main entrance:

  • Sat, Nov 15 9 a.m.–11 p.m.

  • Sun, Nov 16 11:30 a.m.–9 p.m.

Weekend on-street parking is free except in BullStreet and Five Points.

This year’s festival takes place at Finlay Park (930 Laurel Street, Columbia, SC) during the City of Columbia’s grand reopening weekend, celebrating the restoration of the City’s crown jewel.

The festival takes place on Saturday, November 15, from noon to 10 p.m.

$0 — no tickets needed! Jam Room Music Festival is absolutely free to attend.

We’re not afraid to get a little wet — Jam Room Music Festival is a rain-or-shine event!

Sure! Cellphones, disposable, and small digital cameras are welcome. Professional cameras with removable lenses, plus audio or video recording devices, aren’t allowed. Please, no flash photography.

Yes! Getting to the festival by bike is a great way to get here — we’re right off the Vista Greenway. Cola Town Bike Collective will be operating a free bike valet for safe and convenient parking during the festival.

The following list outlines items that can not be brought into the festival area:

  • Weapons of any kind
  • Illegal substances
  • No food or beverage of any kind
  • Alcohol (beer and wine will be sold at the festival)
  • Containers or coolers of ANY kind
  • Skateboards, scooters, or personal motorized vehicles (except people with mobility limitations)
  • Fireworks and explosives
  • Instruments and laser pointers
  • Umbrellas
  • Picnic baskets
  • No illegal vending is permitted – no unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed

Yes — leashed dogs are welcome at Finlay Park during the festival.

Yes — beach and camp chairs are allowed. Just make sure they’re not in bags to comply with the City of Columbia’s clear bag policy for the grand reopening weekend.

Yes, there are water fountains throughout Finlay Park where you can refill your reusable water bottle.
